Over the two days of May 16 and 17, 2026, the Yugo Katori 80th Event Vol.1 “Sagaribana of Hirakubo” Exhibition — Ink Painting Graphic World — was successfully held at the new Nohoho Residence building, welcoming many visitors.
Guests came from all across Ishigaki Island, including people who made a special trip to Hirakubo for the occasion, as well as travelers who happened to stop by while passing through the area.
Throughout the two days, the venue was filled with a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Visitors took their time enjoying the artworks, and conversations naturally emerged among guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.
At the same time, a pop-up by FUSHI COFFEE ROASTERS was held at the main building, Villa Nohoho, adding the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and creating two lively and enjoyable days. Many guests relaxed with a cup of coffee while taking in the surrounding scenery, experiencing the calm and slow-paced atmosphere unique to Hirakubo.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited the event, as well as all those who helped make it possible.
If you are interested in using Nohoho Residence or Villa Nohoho for exhibitions, pop-up events, or other gatherings and activities, please feel free to contact us at info@nohoho.jp.
